DORSET Police are holding a road safety day in Poundbury,
The event will be held at Jubilee Hall in Queen Mother's Square on Saturday, September 14.
The public engagement day will see officers available to talk about a range of different road safety issues and advice.
The forces No Excuse Team will be at the event to talk about the work they do.
The team deploys to areas where the public have expressed concerns, to areas of high collisions and to areas identified through analysis as being of particular risk in order to reduce casulaties.
There will also be advice and information on road safety education, road casult reduction and Community Speed Watch (CSW).
CSW is a national initiative which brings together the community and the police in a joint endeavour to act as a deterrent and highlight speeding concerns, reduce road casualties and improve community safety.
The event will run from 10am until 4pm.
