An evening of European folk music and dance will take place in Dorchester.
EuroBal Wessex runs regular balfolk events in Hampshire and Dorset. The name refers to a dance form which combines Western European dances with modern music.
The club's next event will be held at the Brownsword Hall in Pummery Square, Poundbury on Friday, September 13 from 7pm to 10.30pm.
It will begin with a workshop, taught by organiser and instructor Alastair Braidwood to learn the basic steps, before the dance gets going at 8pm, all accompanied by live music from the scratch band.
The dance is couple-based but people can find a partner at the event. People are also invited to bring their own instrument.
To cover the costs of the hall and organising, there is an honesty pot upon entrance.
Entry for adults costs £6, £4 for teenagers and children aged 12-and-under can enter for free.
