Police have issued a warning to youths after reports of anti-social behaviour.
Dorset Police have recently received reports of youths gathering in the hangars at the old airfield in Crossways.
According to the police, the youths have been seen climbing over stored hay bales, whilst they they have also recorded evidence that they are lighting fires. Photographs show the remnants of a fire in a hanger.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “There have been reports of youths gathering at the hangars on the old airfield in Crossways and evidence that they are lighting fires. They have also been seen climbing over the stored hay bales.
“Sadly, there have been cases in the past of children falling from the top of the hay bales or even crushed by them.”
