It will start on Saturday, September 7 and finish on Saturday, September 21 to coincide with the United Nations International Peace Day.
The trail will be feature artwork from company members, Weymouth College students, care groups and other local schools.
It has fifteen participating venues including the Palm House, Tesco and Weymouth Pavilion.
Maps of the trail have also been distributed which include a way to register venues visited. Those who complete the trail will be entered into a free draw for a prize.
On International Peace Day, Mayor Jon Orrell will be marking the occasion by planting a rose of peace in the new sensory gardens of Radipole at 12pm.
This will be followed by a free celebration event at the Royal Hotel on the Esplanade, with live music, readings and poetry. It will take place from 10am to 4pm and there will also be a birthday cake to celebrate 15 years of Artwey.
The event has been partially funded by Weymouth Town Council and We Are Weymouth.
