Police issued advice after they came across fridges left on the side of a rural road.
Officers came across the fly-tipping on Piddle Lane near Cerne Abbas during a patrol yesterday evening (Wednesday, September 4).
Photos shared appear to show at least two fridges on the side of the road.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “The fly tipping in these photos consist of fridges, which could be extremely dangerous should anyone decide to get inside them and they also have dangerous gases in them which need to be disposed of in a safe manner.”
“Sadly, this is an all too common occurrence with the offenders not bothering to dispose of their waste at authorized locations.
Issuing advice, the spokesperson said: "If you come across any fly tipping when out and about then please report to the local council.
“Also if you have difficulty in explaining where exactly the location is you can use What3words."
