A ROAD near a village shop is temporarily closed while works are being carried out on a building.
A stretch of Snow Hill in Bere Regis is expected to remain shut until September 14.
It is closed between Tower Hill and West Street (in both directions), a distance of approximately 80 metres.
This is to allow works to be completed on the side of the village's Nisa shop.
The closure order provided Bindon Abbey Scaffolding Ltd safe access to install scaffolding to the side of Nisa to allow works to be completed.
For more public notices like this, see the Dorset Echo Public Notices Portal here.
A diversion route has been signposted using Tower Hill, Butt Lane, West Street and vice versa.
Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the notice will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.
