A PLANE had to make an emergency landing at Bournemouth Airport after engine failure.
Passengers on board were checked over by emergency services.
Details of the aircraft affected are unknown.
The incident occurred around 6.50pm on September 2.
A spokesperson for DWFRS said: “We received a report to an aircraft that was having to make an emergency landing at Bournemouth Airport due to one of its engines being out.
“Our crews from Christchurch and Springbourne went to the airport to standby in case the Airport Fire Service required further assistance.
“Luckily, the aircraft landed safely with no one being injured and our crews were only required to collect details.”
