A man has suffered injuries in an assault on Portland.
The victim - a man in his 40s - was reportedly assaulted by three teenagers in Haylands as he was walking from Castle Road towards Fortuneswell.
He was treated by the ambulance service for injuries that are not believed to be serious.
The incident happened at around 4.40pm on Saturday, August 10 and Dorset Police has today issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward with any information they have.
Police Constable Joshua Westlake, of Weymouth police, said: “We understand there were a number of witnesses in the area at the time of the assault so we are keen to speak to anyone who hasn’t come forward already.
“I would also ask any residents or motorists driving in the area to please review their doorbell or home security cameras and dashcams to see if they have captured anything of relevance to our investigation.”
