Families can engage in the wonders of science at this upcoming festival in Weymouth.
The Weymouth Family Science Festival will take place at the Nothe Fort on Sunday, September 22 from 10.30am to 4pm.
A wide range of science demonstrations will be dotted around the fort.
Further details about the festival are due to be announced closer to the date.
Last year's festival included an inflatable planetarium which taught visitors how to recognise constellations.
Visitors could also make and launch their own rocket from within the fort’s grounds and try out other types of experiments as part of the Institute of Physics section.
The event will be covered by a general admission ticket or an annual pass. The museum will also be open as per normal operating hours.
