Work to a million-pound park development is set to continue this Autumn.
Radipole Park and Gardens in Weymouth has undergone extensive refurbishments thanks to £1m in funds from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
The work, which started in summer 2023, finished earlier this year and has seen a variety of improvements to the green space.
This includes various exciting sports facilities including basketball courts, tennis courts, a pickleball court, a pétanque area, and a scooter track for pre-schoolers.
Instillation of a zipline was unable to take place during this period due to the wet ground conditions and works are now planned to fit the exciting new park equipment into the play area this autumn.
Additionally, bare root planting will also take part in the gardens during November.

Since its grand opening, the park has been very busy and Weymouth Town Council are even planning to nominate the area for a green flag award to see if it can be recognised alongside Greenhill and Sandsfoot.
