A three-vehicle crash caused heavy traffic along a main route in Dorset.
According to police, a crash was reported around 12.47pm today (Thursday, August 29) on the A354 around Monkton Hill near Winterbourne Monkton.
The road was reported to be blocked both ways a result of the crash, causing queues of traffic to form from the A35 football ground roundabout to the Bincombe turn-off at Upwey.
Minor injuries have been reported as a result of the crash.
Motorists are advised to find alternative routes where possible.
The scene was cleared around 3pm, with traffic reportedly returning to normal.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police: "At 12.47pm on Thursday, August 29 we received a report of a three-vehicle road traffic collision on the A354 Monkton Hill near Winterbourne Monkton in which minor injuries were reported.
"We were not required to attend this incident."
