A colourful family run is returning to Weymouth. 

Following the success of last year's event, another family colour run will take place at Southill Primary School in Weymouth on Sunday September 22. 

Adults and pupils are encouraged to wear their brightest whites as they run, walk, hop, skip or dance along a course on the school grounds. There will be fun obstacles and plenty of powder stations to brighten people up along the way. 

Gates open at 11am and there will be a warm-up accompanied by some top tunes prior to the event. 

Participants are encouraged to bring along a picnic for afterwards and enjoy some live music from the musical duo Milk & Two as well as entertainment from local Mini Professors Science Classes. 

Money raised by the event will go towards ongoing fundraising for a new music studio at the school.

Entries cost £7 which includes a registration fee. T-shirts and sunglasses can also be purchased and collected on the day.
