A two-vehicle crash in Maiden Newton was causing heavy traffic this morning.
The crash happened on the A356 Dorchester Road from Frome Lane.
The delays were in both directions.
The road has now cleared, and traffic has returned to normal.
Police say there were no reports of any injuries.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 3.12pm to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A356 in Maiden Newton.
"No injuries reported, and recovery has been arranged for one of the vehicles."
