A flower bed on the Weymouth seafront has been smashed by a coach.
The flower bed, which contains a palm tree, has been significantly damaged having been hit by a coach yesterday.
Made of concrete, the side of the bed to the road has suffered significant damage, with bits of debris strewn onto the ground.
This bed is near to the Esplanade's junction with East Street.
Weymouth Town Council have installed temporary barriers around the bed until it can be assessed and repaired.
A spokesperson for Weymouth Town Council said: "A coach hit one of the concrete flower beds on the prom yesterday.
"As a temporary measure while the repairs are assessed and carried out we have put barriers up around it."
