Heading to the Melplash show?
Then take a look at some of the highlights of this year's show which will feature more than 400 trade stalls, a food hall livestock classes and of course the award winning animals will be paraded through the show.
Broke Freestyle Motocross Display Team
The main attraction of this year's show, their breath taking stunts include flying 35ft in the air and 75ft in distance whilst doing all sorts of aerobic manoeuvres will get everyone sitting on the edge of their seats.
The team will perform twice during the day in the main arena – 11.30am and 3.30pm.
Team Pawsability
Also in our main arena, the team will be putting their dogs through their paces in a circular knockout agility competition.
From Papillons to Labradors there’s all sort of breeds in action. Come along and support your favourite dog and meet some of the canine stars and their handlers.
The Sheep Show
A humorous educational live stage show about sheep and wool.
The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery
The Troop will have a stand to promote what they do and to talk about the exciting career opportunities that are available within the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery. There will be a variety of equipment pieces on display including elements of their tailors, farriers, saddler and gun park.
Jonathan Marshall falcon displays
One of the worlds leading display falconers over the last 30 years.
Not content with just flying birds of prey, Jonathan introduced dancing Spanish horses into his display and trained both birds and horses to work together.
Strawberry Jam the Clown
A cheeky, bright, bubbly, mischievous character. Strawberry performs comedy magic and circus skills shows, including juggling stunt chickens and her magic washing machine.
Wyld Morris
Wyld Morris are a mixed Morris side of dancers and musicians dancing in the Cotswold tradition with the occasional Border dance. The side made its debut performance in 2011 and has since grown considerably since. See them performing outside the beer tent in the Countryside field.
Professor Crump
The Professor – standing eight foot tall in his magnificent top hat and entertaining with his Crumpantics. Stilt walking, balloon modelling, magic and general mayhem!
Cynewulf Morris
Cynewulf Morris are a local Morris Dance side who specialise in mainly stick and hanky dances of Cotswold origins. T See Cynewulf Morris performing outside the beer tent in our Countryside field.
Piano Bike Girl
Chloe and her fabulous piano bike will be cycling around the showground.
Dorset Young Farmers Marquee
An opportunity to learn about local clubs and watch sheep shearing.
St Swithun’s Band
The St Swithun’s Brass Band is based in Bridport and will be playing in the Jack Norman field (opposite the Food Hall) from 10.00am to 12.30pm.

Discover Farming Marquee
Packed with hands-on activities for children including grinding wheat, making, cooking and eating pizzas, making cheese and apple juice, apple juicing, handling baby chicks, milking a goat and even calving a cow.
Moores Biscuits Cookery Theatre
Cookery demonstrations throughout the day:
10:00am – Jim Chapman (JimLad), a farmer and TikTok sensation for his roast dinners, from Charmouth
11.00am – Giselle Benrimoj and Ed Pemberton from Strawberry Tree – Spanish Tapas Restaurant & Cookery School, Lyme Regis
12.00pm – Seldon Curry from Seaside Boarding House, Burton Bradstock
1.00pm – Ana Martin from The Acorn Inn, Evershot
2.00pm – James Mearings from Summer Lodge, Evershot
3.00pm – Sarah & Sanjay Choudhury from the Taj Mahal, Bridport
4.00pm – Gelf Alderson from River Cottage, Axminster
