A COMPULSORY purchase order for an empty house in Weymouth has been confirmed by the Secretary of State.
The home is at 19 Southview Road and is a two storey mid terrace house on the north side of Southview Road.
The house is situated about 15 metres west of the junction with Emmadale Road.
Dorset Council applied to the Secretary of State for the compulsory purchase order.

The order includes a 152m² plot of land to the northwest of the home for the purposes of facilitating the improvement of the land and maintaining and enhancing access to and from the property.
No objections to the order were received within the permitted period and accordingly the order has been confirmed by the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities with modifications.
