Burglars gained entry to a village home near Dorchester.
According to police, entry was gained to an address off Dorchester Road in Puddletown between 3pm and 8pm on Sunday, August 18. Police have only just released information of the incident.
It is not known at this time what was stolen.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following the burglary.
Police Constable Richard Robson, of Dorchester police, said: “Our enquiries are continuing and we are working to establish exactly what was stolen.
“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area, or has information about those responsible, to please get in touch.
“Also, I would like to speak to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on home CCTV or dashcam footage.”
