Passengers travelling on the Waterloo railway line should prepare for significant disruption next month.
South Western Railway announced that on Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29, the lines in Southampton will be shut down for maintenance work.
This will impact CrossCountry, Great Western Railway, and Southern services.
Passengers can travel from Weymouth to Bournemouth, but services between Bournemouth to Southampton will be replaced by a fast bus service, stopping at Branksome, Parkstone and Christchurch.
A bus service will also be available between Brockenhurst and Lymington.
