A road rage incident in Weymouth saw a man left with 'serious' head injuries.
According to police, a man aged in his 60s, was driving a black Audi A3 and was forced to stop suddenly to avoid a collision with an e-scooter on Chamberlaine Road, Wyke Regis, at around 9.50am on Saturday.
The victim’s wife, the passenger of the vehicle, pulled down her window to challenge the male e-scooter rider over his riding.
According to police, he started becoming abusive and the occupants got out of the car to speak to him.
The e-scooter rider then punched the victim, causing him to fall to the ground. He was taken to hospital after sustaining a head injury. The rider, who made off from the scene, was seen wearing sunglasses, a grey t-shirt, grey shorts and white trainers as well as a backpack.
