A theatre company in Dorchester has returned home from a successful Edinburgh Fringe run, with the show receiving rave reviews from critics.
The Dorchester Youth Theatre Performance Company (DYTPC), part of Dorchester Arts’ youth theatre, has completed its run of triggerfish.
The play is based on the true story of The Royal Adelaide - sailing ship which was wrecked on Chesil Beach in November 1872 while on a journey from London to Australia.

Professional writer and director Ed Viney wrote the play, drawing inspiration from ideas explored by members of the company.
It made its debut at Dorchester's Corn Exchange in July before the company travelled almost 500 miles up north for the festival.
The company distributed 2,000 flyers to promote the show during the week-long run and performed a total of five shows.
The production proved to be a hit with audiences, as well as receiving glowing critical praise.
One review read: "Triggerfish is a powerful and charming ensemble piece. Well directed, visually stunning with good pace and strong individual characterisation, especially from the talented actors playing Mrs Fowler, "girl-playing-man" and Catherine Irons.
"DYT Performance Company are sure to go far with their joyful and powerful storytelling."
The company is made up of thirteen young adults aged between 17 and 21 years old and has been working to raise £20,000 to cover accommodation, travel and venue costs.
Jo Simons, artistic director, has said she is immensely proud of the company and also touched by the community who have donated to the company's online fundraiser page.
She said: "We cannot thank our supporters enough for enabling our talented company to experience the most amazing, biggest arts festival in the world.
"I was so proud of their professional attitude performing at The Space @ Niddry St, right in the heart of the Royal Mile.
"They rose to the challenge and fully embraced the heart and soul of the Edinburgh Fringe, not only performing but supporting other artists by watching their shows and seeing a vast array of theatre makers and performers.
"We have given our company an experience they will carry with them forever and for that we are truly grateful!"
