A new council scheme is reminding people of the dangers of having barbeques in the Dorset countryside.
Buses will be used used to tell people to bring picnics and not barbeques when visiting the county by using 'vibrant artwork'
The artwork is designed to remind members of the public that barbeques can have a 'devasting impact' on the countryside and that they should bring picnics instead when out enjoying nature.
A spokesperson for Dorset Council said: "Keep an eye out for vibrant artwork on Dorset buses this summer reminding everyone to bring picnics, not BBQs, to our countryside sites.
"Disposable BBQs can spark wildfires which can have a devastating impact on wildlife and our environment. They also pose risks to people and animals, if not disposed of properly.
"Help us protect our county and stay safe this summer, by bringing a picnic not a BBQ."
