A 'phantom' post box topper has struck again in Puddletown, this time with a traditional seaside theme.
Outside the Puddletown Spar Shop on High Street, you can spot a colourful new addition to the post box.
The topper features the iconic red Punch and Judy booth with puppets; Mr Punch, The Constable, Toby the Dog, Judy holding the Baby and the Crocodile.
Four children are sitting below, watching the show.
The topper was spotted by PCSO Alison Donnison, who was outside the shop for a community contact event.
A spokesperson for Dorchester Police said: "The phantom post box topper has been in action again. This time with a summer theme of a Punch and Judy show."
Punch & Judy is a traditional puppet show frequently performed in seaside towns, including Weymouth.
The performance consists of a sequence of short scenes, each depicting an interaction between two characters, most typically the anarchic Mr Punch and one other character who usually falls victim to the intentional violence of Punch's slapstick.
