PROPOSALS to keep thirty storage containers on a farm site at Chickerell are being considered by Dorset Council.

Coldharbour Farm, Coldharbour is making the retrospective application to retain the units, some of which have been in place since 2013 according to a planning agent acting for the business.

The agent says that a separate application is being prepared to revise the layout of the site, which will use a smaller area of land than at the moment.

Dorset Highways has raised no objection to the current proposals and had agreed an improved site access under a previous planning consent for the site.
