The police are urging the public to report information about knife crime in Dorset.
Dorset Police have issued an appeal on Facebook for the public to come forward with any concerns or suspicions they may have about potential knife crime in the community.
Specialist officers will then look at the information, assess the risk to a person, and decide if action is required.
This comes after two recent incidents of knives being seized by the police with one involving a young boy who was wielding a "combat-style" knife from a boy in Weymouth train station.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "No good can come from carrying a knife.
"Carrying a knife for protection is illegal and if you’re found to be in possession of one, you could be arrested and prosecuted.
"Help reduce knife crime in your area. Report any concerns you have about knives online on our intelligence portal https://orlo.uk/etEim
"If you want to remain anonymous you can always contact Crimestoppers."
