The Dog, Sausage and Cider Festival is set to return to the Springhead pub at Sutton Poyntz on Sunday, August 25 from 11am.
A bumper roster of entertainment will be on offer, perfect for families and their four-legged friends.
The line-up promises a range of new activities including fairground rides, free pottery classes as well as live music from seven bands across two stages. Music includes sets from We Afro Tallawan, Dr Beatroot and the Leggomen.
On top of all that, there will be displays from Dorset Falconry, axe throwing stunts, magician performances, majorette performance from The Twirl Academy, stilt walkers and a Punch and Judy.
In terms of refreshments, visitors can expect BBQ will feature local food from the Fantastic Sausage Factory in Weymouth. There will also be burgers, a wood fired pizza, two bars, a cider var and new for this year, a cocktail van.
A free mighty sausage throwing contest could win participants a £50 voucher, and there will be more than 50 stalls offering items from dog toys and treats to handmade jewellery.
Tickets are £4, whilst children get free entry. For more information, visit www.thespringhead.co.uk.
