LOUISE M TREWARTHA, aged 60, of St Georges Road, Dorchester. Admitted to driving a car on the A35 Puddletown bypass on December 20, 2023, at a speed exceeding the limit of 70ph, namely 83mph. Fined £72, to pay a surcharge of £28. Driving licence endorsed with three penalty points.

KYLE BLACKWELL, aged 28, of West Allington, Bridport. Admitted to failing to stop or report a crash on South Street that damaged multiple vehicles and a home on South Street on May 19. He also admitted to driving without due care or attention, and driving having consumed so much alcohol the proportion on his breath was 54 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the limit of 35 microgrammes. He was given a 16-month community order with alcohol treatment requirements and a mental health treatment requirement and he must also complete 10 days of rehabilitation activities. He was fined £550 and has been disqualified from driving for 16 months with a potential reduction period of 16 weeks pending completion of a drunk driver rehabilitation course.
