Residents of Weymouth are invited to an afternoon of live acoustic music to raise funds for a local church.
Singer songwriter Carrie Martin from Hull will be performing at St Andrew's Church Rooms in Weymouth on Sunday, September 1 from 3pm to 6pm.
Her career dates back to the 90s when she fronted three cover bands - Foreign Affair, Extacy and The Promise.
After a short hiatus, she took up the guitar once again, publishing her first album in 2014, and touring across as far afield as Canada and California.
Tickets for the event are priced at £15 and includes tea/ coffee and a piece of homemade cake or scones.
Money raised from ticket sales will go towards supporting the church.
She will also be performing at The Sherling Studio, Lighthouse Poole in the evening prior to her Weymouth concert.
You can book tickets for the event by contacting Shirley Mitchell, The Church Rooms, Preston DT3 6BU on 01305 837147 on weekdays between 10am and 2pm.
