A fire has destroyed the interior of a cabin and vehicle.
Firefighters from Swanage Fire Station were called during the early morning to reports of a vehicle fire.
This incident took place on the Propect Business Park, Swanage.
Upon arrival, a welfare unit was also found ‘well alight’ by the crew who then had to call for aid from a second appliance.
Welfare units are generally made of steel, ideal for the provision of welfare facilities on sites where workers are constantly on the move such as road building, pipelines or where there is limited or restricted access for lorries.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus ‘worked hard’ to gain access to the container in order to extinguish the fire.
A spokesperson for Swanage Fire Station said: “At around 6.45am one appliance was mobilised to a vehicle fire.
“On arrival one welfare container unit was well alight so a second appliance was requested.
“Four crew members in breathing apparatus worked hard to gain access to the container and extinguish the fire.”
