KIERAN WALSH, aged 22 of Nightingale Drive, Upwey, Weymouth. Admitted to driving a motor vehicle when over the drink driving limit on March 30, 2024, at the Swannery Car Park in Weymouth, namely 148 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, exceeded the prescribed limit of 80 milligrammes. Disqualified from driving for 20 months, may be reduced by 20 weeks pending completion of a course. Must pay a £400 fine. Must also pay £85 in court costs and a £160 surcharge.
LUCY WILLIAMS, aged 21, off Franchise Street, Weymouth. Admitted to using a motor vehicle on September 9, 2023, on Westover Road, Bournemouth without third-party insurance and without a valid MOT. Fined £120, to pay a surcharge of £48 and court costs of £110. Disqualified from driving for six months.
MARIUSZ PAWEL KALINOWSKI, aged 42, of Grove Avenue, Weymouth. Admitted to driving a car on the A35 Puddletown Bypass at a speed exceeding the limit of 70mph, namely 100mph. Fined £461, to pay a surcharge of £184 and court costs of £90. Driving licence endorsed with six penalty points.
HOLLY SCAMMELL, aged 22, of Ebor Road, Weymouth. Admitted to driving a car on July 4, 2024, on Wyke Road, Weymouth after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion on their breath was 83 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the prescribed limit of 35 microgrammes. Disqualified from driving for 20 months, with a potential reduction period of 20 weeks pending completion of a course. Fined £346. To pay court costs of £85 and a surcharge of £138.
JAMIE PARKIN, aged 23, of no fixed abode, Weymouth. Admitted to assault by beating of a police officer on July 5, 2023 in Weymouth. Additionally, at the same date and location, they damaged an ambulance. Given a custodial sentence of 12 weeks, suspended for 18 months. Must undergo alcohol treatment for six months, 29 days of a rehabilitation program and 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days. Must also pay compensation of £150 and fined £120. Must pay court costs of £85.
BENJAMIN DICKER, aged 26, of William Street, Weymouth. Admitted to failing to attend an initial assessment to determine dependency or propensity for misuse after a sample revealed that cocaine and opiates may have been present in their body. Fined £120. Must also pay court costs of £85.
Dorchester:
KWANELE NDHLALAMBI, aged 36, of Garland Crescent, Dorchester. Admitted to driving a motor vehicle when over the alcohol driving limit on July 1, 2024, on Maumbury Road, Dorchester namely 47 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the limit of 35 microgrammes. Disqualified from driving for 12 months, may be reduced by 12 weeks pending completion of a course. Must pay a £230 fine. Must also pay court costs of £85 and a surcharge of £92.
MARK HUNT, aged 48, of Paceycombe Way, Poundbury. Admitted to possession of controlled drugs on May 25, 2023, at Dorchester South Railway Station, namely 10 grams of class B amphetamine and 4.5 grams of class A cocaine. Given a conditional discharge of 12 months. Drugs to be forfeited and destroyed. Must also pay court costs of £85 and a surcharge of £26.
JOSEPH HAGUE, aged 44, of Windsor Road, Dorchester. Admitted to possession of 0.5 grams the controlled class B drug amphetamine on May 25, 2023, at Dorchester South Railway Station. Fined £80 and drugs are to be forfeited and destroyed. Must also pay court costs of £85 and a surcharge of £32.
Portland:
DIANE SMITH, aged 53, of Verne Common Road, Portland. Admitted to using a motor vehicle on August 28, 2023, on Verne Common Road without third party insurance. Must pay a fine of £438, a surcharge of £175 and court costs of £110. Driving record endorsed with six penalty points.
North Dorset:
