- The Autumn programme of films starts this Saturday 27th September in the Village Hall at 7.30 p.m.
The opening film is "The Bank Job" (15) starring Peter Bowles, Jason Statham and Saffron Burrows.
This film tells the story of how thieves tunnelled into a bank in Baker Street in 1971 and stole jewels and cash worth millions.
Nothing was ever recovered.
The film reveals what was hidden in the vault boxes and delves into the associated scandals which reached high society.
The film is described as 'fast moving'.
Moviola has been enjoyed in the village for some time now, an organisation that brings films to rural places.
However attendances have dropped recently and there has been a financial loss.
Hoping the figures will rise Moviola are continuing their programme for the time being but if numbers do not improve then this Autumn season could be the last.
Please do come to the Autumn programme and bring as many friends as possible!
Admission only £5 and the seats are comfortable!
When the following film ( Saturday October 25th ) is 'Mamma Mia' how more tempting could anything get?!?
