The countdown is officially on for the opening of a popular sunflower trail.
The Dorset Sunflower Trail at Maiden Castle Farm, Dorchester will open its gates on Friday, August 9.
The highly anticipated opening will see thousands of the summery flowers line the fields in a truly incredible sight.
Hazel Hoskin organises the trail every year in order to raise funds for charity and this year, the event is raising money for Dorset County Hospital’s Emergency and Critical Care Appeal.
The trail will take around 40 minutes to complete and there is a second shorter route for those who are less able to complete long distances.
