POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a man who has not been in contact with his friends or family for a number of days.

Officers are appealing for information and help from the public as they search for Simon Pope, 35, from North Dorset.

He left an address in Charlton Marshall on Monday, July 22 and was last seen at around 4.40pm on Friday, July 26 in Lansdowne Crescent in Bournemouth.

Simon is described as around five feet ten inches tall and of slim build with dark coloured short hair that is swept over on one side.

He has a short-trimmed beard and a dollar sign tattoo under his right eye.

Simon was last seen wearing a black Adidas tracksuit and blue Nike trainers.

Police constable Ryan Lloyd, of Dorset Police, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Simon as we understand he has been upset recently and has not been in contact with family or friends for a number of days now.

“I am appealing to anyone who has seen Simon, or a man matching the description given, to please get in touch.

“Finally, if you see this appeal Simon, please can you contact either us or your loved ones as we all just want to ensure you are safe and well.”
