Learn more about Dorset’s past summers from the past 150 years in a free exhibition.

The Dorset History Centre is holding a free exhibition, displaying images from the past 150 years’ worth of summers in the county from over-dressed Victorians through to modern times.

It will take place on Saturday, August 17 between 10am to 3pm at the centre off Bridport Road and will include unique material, including photographs, slides and postcards not available in digital format.

Visitors will also be able to find out how to care for their own photographic heritage, and how photography is developed.

The centre will also be hosting a display of more contemporary Dorset photography from the Dorchester Camera Club.
