ANOTHER cruise ship has arrived in Dorset in the midst of an exceptionally busy summer for Portland Port.
Oceania Cruises' Nautica arrived at 6.51am today, Friday, August 2, from Zeebrugge, Belgium.
Built in 1999, the American-owned ship is described as 'sophistication with a contemporary flair'.
She was refurbished in 2022 and has room for 702 passengers.
Nautica features multiple dining venues, of which four are unique, open-seating restaurants.
The ship also boasts guest speakers such as historians, naturalists or former ambassadors.
Wellness is a central feature of the ship, with passengers offered an array of holistic programmes, services and experiences available at Aquamar Spa + Vitality Centre.
Nautica is due to depart from Portland at 5pm today. She will leave to the traditional sound of the Nothe Fort Garrison firing three shots from its canon upon departure.
The next cruise ship due to call in will be the Regal Princess on Monday, followed by two ships; Norwegian Dawn and AIDASol on Tuesday.
