Police rescued a deer in Dorset that had become dehydrated.
The Dorset Rural Crime Team came across the deer after enquiring into a series of rural thefts in the county.
Found stumbling in the middle of the road, the deer was taken to a wildlife hospital where it is expected to receive treatment over the next few days.
The wildlife rescue at Moyles Court took the deer on to look after it.
