A graffiti attack at Portland Marina has been resolved – with parents paying to have the offending scribbles professionally removed.
The black spray paint appeared on the shelters on the marine walk over the weekend – on both wooden and stone surfaces.
A Portland social media post says parents and the youngsters tried to remove their handiwork, but were unable to make a good job of it so called in a local firm to finish the task.
The company involved, Rjworx, General Property and Building Maintenance, says it has a lot of respect for the families involved putting their hands in their pockets to resolve the situation.
“I think the kids involved have learned a very valuable lesson from this and hopefully there shall be no more of it,” said the company post.
