A car was left stuck on a grass bank after crashing off the road.
The car crashed at around 2am on Sunday on the A37 at Long Ash Lane near Frampton.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "It was reported that the vehicle involved had left the carriageway and gone up a grass bank.
"There were no reports of any injuries and it was reported that the driver was arranging recovery.
"Officers left the scene at around 2.40am."
A passerby described seeing the car on the grass bank on Monday morning.
They said: "We were driving past yesterday morning and we looked across and saw the sign was gone, that was when we saw the car up the bank."
