A celebration of green spaces will take over a local park in the county town.
Organised by Dorchester Town Council, Love Parks Day is set for Thursday, August 1, between 11am to 3pm at Borough Gardens. It was rearranged after poor weather led to its postponement last week.
Free activities include stalls from Dorchester Youth Council, the Shire Hall Museum, Alms House, and Keep 106FM. There will also be bouncy castles, arts activities, a trail from Discover Dorchester and a Punch and Judy display with shows at midday and 2pm.
Food and refreshments on the day include ice cream from Mad Mitch Whippy, Kiosk on the Green, Manning’s Baked Goods, and Big Bun Catering.
