Passengers travelling towards Weymouth have been experiencing delays due to a line-side fire.
South Western Railway (SWR) reported a points failure at Brockenhurst station at around 10am this morning due to a line-side fire.
This is currently affecting trains travelling on the London Waterloo to Weymouth line.
Disruption was expected to last until the end of the day.
A spokesperson for SWR said: "We have been informed of a points failure at Brockenhurst station, caused by a recent line-side fire.
"This means that platform 3 for trains towards Bournemouth is blocked.
"Trains will use different platforms than usual, please check before you board."
South Western Railway has since confirmed the problem was resolved at around 2:30pm and normal service has resumed.
