Police are appealing for information from the public as they search for a missing teenager last seen in Weymouth.

Jack Adams, also known as Grace, was reported missing having last been seen in the town early on Tuesday afternoon.

Jack is described as 17 years old, 5ft 5ins tall and of slim build. Jack was wearing a grey beanie hat, a blue long-sleeved T-shirt with green writing on it, green jogging bottoms and carrying a black rucksack.

Inspector Chris Meade, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Jack’s welfare and would urge anyone with information that might assist our searches to please contact us.

“While the last confirmed sighting was in Weymouth, we understand Jack has links to the Poole and Bournemouth area and may have travelled to the conurbation.

“I would also like to make a direct plea to Jack if you see this appeal to please make contact with us and let us know where you are. We just want to check that you are all right.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Jack’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55240112041.
