Two camping sites in the Weymouth area have been named among the most outstanding in the UK.
The UK booking platform Campsites.co.uk compiled its annual list of the 150 'outstanding' camping, glamping, and touring sites across the UK.
The unranked list celebrates the sites that offer campers a "reliably great holiday."
Buckland Campsite in Nottington and Rosewall Camping in Osmington Mills both featured on the list.
The former has been described as "a peaceful family-run site" with a 4.91 star rating based on customer reviews with 93 per cent of people saying they would recommend the site.
Daniel Smy, manager of the site, said: "I am delighted that Buckland Campsite has been named one of the most outstanding campsites in the UK.
"We are so proud that our wonderful campsite is able to showcase Weymouth as a great base for family friendly camping and help put the area on the map as an outstanding area for tourism.
"We all know just how hard the start of the season has been with the inclement weather but this is the icing on the cake for us and we are buzzing at this amazing news.
"I would like to thank the Flower family and the whole team who have worked so hard to achieve this wonderful recognition for the campsite."
Rosewall Camping in Osmington Mills has a 4.83 star rating with 95% saying they would recommend the site.
A spokesperson said: "We are thrilled to be included in the list of 150 outstanding sites in the UK by Campsites.co.uk. We are very fortunate to live in a beautiful area so it is fantastic to be able to share that with visitors who love the views Rosewall offers.
"Thank you to all our customers whether they are first timers or one of our many regulars and to our staff for making Rosewall an enjoyable place to be. Its great news to be named on the list.
Five other Dorset sites were featured in the list including Highlands End Holiday Park in Bridport, Coppet Hill in Whitchurch Canonicorum, Norden Farm Campsite in Wareham, Riverside Lakes in Horton and Woodfrys Farm in Shaftesbury.
