Dorset Council is encouraging people to swap cigarettes for vapes by taking advantage of a free scheme.
The council started its Swap2Stop initiative to get people to stop smoking cigarettes.
The scheme allows residents in the Dorset Council area to apply for a free vape starter kit from its partner Totally Wicked.

Emma Rossi, service manager at Live Well Dorset is encouraging people to take up the offer and has explained how simple it is to sign up.
She said: "There is this new initiative in Dorset for people who want to give up smoking and who might be interested in swapping their cigarette for a vape.
"So if you are a smoker in the Dorset Council postcode area then it's really simple for you to do.

"If go to our website, on our home page you'll see the swap 2 stop button. Simply click that button and then you'll be taken to a page where you can sign up for a stop smoking vape starter kit.
"You'll need an email and a mobile phone number. We will then text you or email you with a code which you'll be able to redeem with Totally Wicked who will provide you with a vape starter kit.
"It really is as simple as that. If you haven't got a mobile phone or an email address you can call inot the service as well
