Planned roadworks are set cause disruption this evening with a full road closure in place overnight on the A35.
Work will resume on maintenance and repair work on the A35 trunk road between Bridport and Dorchester from 8pm this evening (Monday, July 22)..
There will be a full road closure in place until 6am tomorrow with the road closure in place on weeknights until July 31.
The work is being carried out by contractors Balfour Beatty and is repair work and maintenance for the National Highways which is responsible for the trunk road.
It is part of a £350,000 investment to improve the A35.
It follows on from the maintenance being carried out on the A35 between Axminster and Bridport which ended last week.
