An iconic beach performance has returned for the summer.
The Weymouth Punch and Judy Show has returned to Weymouth Beach and will run six days a week at 12pm and 2.30pm until September 1.
Punch and Judy is a traditional puppet show featuring Mr. Punch and his wife Judy.
The performance consists of a sequence of short scenes, each depicting an interaction between two characters, most typically the anarchic Mr. Punch and one other character who usually falls victim to the intentional violence of Punch's slapstick.
There are no shows on Fridays and tickets to watch the popular show are £2 for both adults and children.
Performances are 20-30 minutes long and often draw large crowds with the origins of Punch and Judy dating back to 1662.
