A man appeared in court charged with four counts of shoplifting.
Daniel Vaughan, of Windermere Close in Yeovil pleaded not guilty to stealing skincare, alcohol, and beauty products from shops in Sherborne and Marnhull.
Vaughan, 45, was represented by Lee Christmas, for the defence.
Kate Moore was prosecuting.
The charges refer to incidents between April 27 and May 18 this year.
On April 27, he is charged with stealing £618 of skincare products from Boots in Sherborne and £388.60 worth of skincare products from the same shop the next day.
On May 18, he is charged with stealing £189 of alcohol from Spar in Marnhull and £145.99 of beauty products from Boots in Sherborne.
The case was adjourned until a hearing at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 26
He was released on conditional bail, with conditions not to visit Boots in Sherborne or Spar in Marnhull t.
