A FREE lunchtime concert will be held this weekend offering a rare opportunity to hear a solo percussion recital.
It will take place at St Peter's Church, High East Street, Dorchester, on Saturday, July 20 between 12.30pm and 1pm.
The concert will be given by percussionist Graeme Thew, a percussionist with the Grenadier Guards who now enjoys a thriving freelance career as a soloist, orchestral player and teacher.
He'll be playing the marimba and other instruments that you hit!
This is a rare opportunity to hear a solo percussion recital, and with Graeme's informative introductions to the instruments this promises to be a fascinating and entertaining musical half hour.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
