A charity is holding a fabric roadshow at a church in Dorchester.
Project Linus West Dorset is hosting Doughty’s Fabric Roadshow at the Dorchester Community Church on Liscombe Street in Poundbury.
The event will take place on Saturday, July 27 between 10.30am to 2.30pm and will feature a selection of more than 1,000 different quilting fabrics by well-known designers, plains and blenders, as well as extra wide fabrics and wadding.
A donation of £1 will be welcomed at the event, with all proceeds going towards Project Linus, a charity which organises sewing and fundraising events across the UK, as well as liaising and distributing quilts and blankets to local hospitals, children’s hospices, women’s refuges, foster carers, special schools, bereavement services and many other places where support is given to children.
Tea, coffee and a selection of cakes will be on offer, and parking will be available.
