There has been a major emergency response at Weymouth Beach.
Large numbers of police officers, ambulance crews and coastguard crews are all in attendance of an incident at the beach which has seen a cordon in place since this morning.
The cordon runs between the sand sculpture and the Boat Café.
A privacy shield has also been put up next to the waters edge which is being patrolled by officers.
At present we are awaiting a response from Dorset Police to confirm the nature of the incident.
