A rehoming centre in Dorchester has shared some of the animals in need of loving homes this month.
The RSPCA's West Dorset branch, Taylors Rehoming Centre, has the following animals up for adoption:
Marley
Marley is a one-year-old DMH black cat. He has been waiting for his forever home for more than four months now.
He is a sweet friendly boy when he is on his own and does enjoy a fuss on his terms.
He hates other cats and can react negatively when other cats are around.
He will need to be an only animal in an adult only home.
Sparrow
Sparrow is a four-year-old DSH white male. He is a friendly boy who enjoys a fuss. He is very shy initially and will need to be given time to settle and get to know you before he shows his true personality.
Being a white cat he is deaf, however he enjoys going outside so will need a safe outside space away from any busy roads.
He could live with older children and would prefer to be the only animal.
Dexter
Dexter is a three-year-old black DSH male. He is a friendly boy who enjoys a fuss. He came in to us as he wasn’t happy living with children so is looking for an adult only home.
He prefers to go to the toilet outside rather than use a litter tray so would need permanent outdoor access to prevent accidents in the house.
Oreo
Oreo is an eight-year-old DSH black and white female. She is a lovely cat who can be quite shy initially and will need tome to settle in. Once she knows you she enjoys a fuss. She is not keen on being picked up. She would prefer an adult only home with no other animals.
Cosmo and Benjamin
Cosmo and Benjamin are a bonded pair of rabbits looking for a home together.
Cosmo is a one-year-old brown and white female lionhead and Benjamin is a one-year-old grey and white male lop. They are a friendly and confident pair of rabbits who will come up to people and eat food out of your hand. They also enjoy exploring in their outside enclosure.
Willow and Squeak
Willow and Squeak are a mother and son pair looking to be rehomed together. Willow is a one-year-old black and tan female lop and her son Squeak is now four-months-old brown lop. Squeak is a very confident and friendly rabbit who will come to people for attention. Willow will need more time to get to know you and is a bit more independent.
