CROWDS turned out to watch the world's biggest beach polo event on Sandbanks Beach.

The annual event returned for its 17th year on July 13 with fast-paced stadium polo, feasting and extravagant parties.

Sandpolo 2024 kicked off with the Knights of Middle England stunt-riding show followed by the famous polo match and charity race.

The charity race between a polo pony and an Audi aims to raise funds for Lewis Manning Hospice

The day-time event is followed by after-party entertainment by DJ Sam Young, who has performed for George Clooney and Idris Elba.

Sandpolo founder Johnny Wheeler previously said: “The support for Sandpolo over the years has been phenomenal.

“It is always such a privilege to bring this spectacular event to Sandbanks.

“Looking back at the photos and films from last year, after a long and rainy winter, makes me incredibly proud of the team and everyone that supports our event.

“Above all, our guests who continually turn up and support us.
